We have the charter boat “Reel Blessed” based in Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico, which is available for charter. The “Reel Blessed” is a 1984 30 foot Dorado with cuddy cabin with head (toilet), tower and 2-200HP Yamaha outboards. She has a cruising speed of 20 to 26 MPH. We specialize in fishing but we are also available for snorkeling, diving, cruising, etc. We are now certified to carry 8 passengers.

We also feature local yachts and boats for sale here in Yucatan.

Here is the July 29,2011 fishing report:

We have been running our Cruise Ship Specials and Half day Trips to a large shipwreck/artificial reef called Lorenna, which is about 300 feet long. There is a large school of Jack Crevalle and Big Eyed Jacks on this wreck. Thousands of fish have been here steadily for the last 3 years. We have to work to get them biting some days, other days we show up and they are hungry. We have been catching about 7 to 30 of these a trip and they are running about 10 to 16 pounds each. They are great fighters and it usually takes about 10 minutes or so to catch one. Double and triple hookups are not unusual. There is a nice mix of bottom fish available there as well, consisting of yellowtail snapper, mojarra blanca(white snapper), chachis(grunts), red groupers, black groupers etc. Spanish mackeral, king mackeral, barracudas and bonitos are there as well.

Here is the January 11, 2012 fishing report.

The jacks left the Lorenna. We have been fishing the channel buoy area 5 to 10 miles out and the bottom fish have been biting well with us averaging 40 to 70 fish on a 4 hour trip. We have been catching lane snappers(which look almost exactly like red snappers). The fish move in closer to shore in the winter months. We are also catching the usual bottom fish as mentioned in the July Report. There are some king mackeral and spanish mackeral around as well.

Let’s go fishing!!

Please note: To see the different Trips, move your pointer over the Trips tab and the different trips available will appear. Click on the one that you want to read. It is the same with the Gallery to see our photos.
